Dutching Stakes Calculator

Back several outcomes at once, like two batters for top scorer or three horses in a race, and split the stake so every winner pays the same.

    How it works

    Using the dutching stakes calculator

Enter the total stake and the odds of each selection you want to back. The calculator splits the stake in proportion to the odds.

Every selection then returns the same amount if it wins. If the combined chance of your selections is above 100%, there is no profit to be had and the result shows a loss.

Dutching suits markets with many runners: top batter, top bowler, race winner, tournament winner.

Example: Backing three batters for top scorer at 5.0, 6.0 and 8.0 with 100 total puts 40.68, 33.90 and 25.42 on them and returns about 203.40 whichever of them wins.

    FAQ

    Questions people ask

    What is dutching?

Backing more than one outcome in the same market with stakes set so the return is the same whichever of them wins.

    When does dutching lose money?

When the implied chances of your picks add up to more than 100%. The calculator shows this as a negative profit.

    Can I dutch in cricket?

Yes. Top batter, top bowler and method of dismissal markets have many outcomes and suit it well.

Is dutching the same as arbitrage?

No. Arbitrage covers every outcome at different books for a sure profit. Dutching covers only the outcomes you choose.
